Lone Star Family Farm is pleased to be able to offer a wide range of attractions that are fun for the whole family! These attractions are also ideal for school groups, church groups, scouting groups, and more! Our farm is the perfect destination for day trips from Fort Worth, Dallas, Waco, Brownwood, Granbury, Weatherford, and other Texas locations!
Our Attractions:
Giant Corn Maze:
Be prepared to get lost on a fantastic adventure. Inside our 6-acre Giant Maize Quest Corn Maze, you will find twisting pathways, questions and answers, and picture rubbings. It's a maze, it's a game, it's educational, and it's FUN! Our Corn Maze features a new theme each year.
Mini Kiddie Corn Maze:
Enjoy our smaller Mini Maze, hidden within the Giant Corn Maze! At just a half-acre, this maze is great for younger explorers not quite ready for the Giant Corn Maze. Older participants can experience both mazes!
Hay Bale Maze:
Jump, Crawl, and Climb! Kids enjoy climbing, crawling, jumping, and making their way through this maze of hay bales.
Hay Bale Pyramid:
Climb! Kids can climb up this giant pyramid of hay bales as their imagination runs wild.
Cow Train:
Get Moving on our redneck roller coaster. Take a ride around the farm on our Cow Train - a fun-filled ride for the littlest rider up to adults.
Giant Slides:
Weeeee! We added new slides in 2015! Climb up our hay bale mountain and then race to see who can get to the bottom first. Our giant slides are side-by-side for double the fun. How fast can you go?
Corn & Sand Pits:
Dig, Scoop, and Play! The farm version of a sand box, the Corn Pit allows sensory play and encourages discovery by replacing sand from the traditional sand box with corn kernels! More fun and less mess! Kids can get in touch with their food. We also have a traditional sand pit with mini trucks for escavating and creating.
Roping Dummies:
Lasso! Try your hand at being a ranch hand. Test your skill on our dummies and see how you'd do roping cattle on the real range.
Stick Horses:
Giddy-up! For cowboys and cowgirls in training. The little ones can ride around the farm on stick horses and let their imaginations run wild.
Farm Animals:
Come meet our animals! Our goats, baby calves, and horse are friendly and fun to observe!
Hayrides:
All aboard! Relax and have fun making new fall family traditions as you take a ride out to the Pumpkin Patch. Adults and kids alike will have a good time taking in the fresh air and countryside. A wagon ride is included with farm admission at no extra charge. Private hayride reservations are also available.
Pumpkin Patch:
Pick a pumpkin! Big, little, medium... You get to pick a pumpkin that suits just you! Don't miss out on this special fall attraction.
Pumpkins and Fall Décor:
Choose the perfect pumpkin or browse our selection of other fall décor including gourds, Indian corn, and more.
Cotton:
Soft, fluffy, white cotton! Visit our educational farming area and look at, touch, and learn about cotton. Cotton is used to make a number of textile products.
Photo Opps:
Say cheese! Take advantage of our decorative, fall-themed backdrops for family and group photos.
Picnic Area:
Take a break! Enjoy our picnic area while you take time to relax and refuel between activities. Picnic benches are provided for your convenience.
Campfires for Groups:
Bring your group at night and enjoy your own private campfire. After you finish the maze and enjoying our other attractions, relax out by the campfire in the country. A campfire in the fall is a great way to spend an evening or warm up on a cool night.
