Fall on the Farm Weekends
We’re celebrating the arrival of fall with a different theme each weekend. Join us every Saturday and Sunday for special workshops, demonstrations, music, food and more! Each weekend is unique and will offer activities for all ages. Pick up some of autumn’s bounty at the Farm Store or head out to our fields on a hayride. There’s no better way to welcome this colorful season!

Pumpkin Hayrides:
Come on out to Wolfe’s Neck Farm for a family outing to remember. Enjoy the fall foliage and take a hayride out to our pumpkin field!

Meet the Animals:
Wolfe’s Neck Farm has an array of farm animals including calves, sheep, goats, chickens and ducks.

Wolfe’s Neck Farm is a nonprofit organization based in Freeport, Maine dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture, education, and outdoor recreation while preserving its 626 acres of open space and historic buildings. This working saltwater farm has a rich history of farming innovation and includes hundreds of acres of forest, saltwater marsh, pasture lands, over four miles of Casco Bay coastline and an award-winning oceanfront campground. Wolfe’s Neck Farm’s educational programs include a summer day camp, field trips, Farm School, a Teen Ag Program and the Organic Dairy Research and Farmer Training Program. It hosts annual barn dances, farm festivals and farm-to-table dinners as well as growing vegetables and pasture-raising chickens and lamb for the local community. Open free to the public year-round, the Farm encourages visitors to explore its miles of hiking trails, meet the animals in the barn, explore the organic gardens and enjoy the open space.
